• Instant Processing & Permanent Destruction (Ephemeral Processing): Food label images captured via your camera or uploaded from your photo album are processed strictly in volatile memory solely for ingredient text extraction and risk analysis. Images are never permanently stored on our servers or external databases.
• No Facial or Sensitive Personal Data Collection: The service is designed exclusively to analyze printed food packaging text. We never collect biometric identifiers, personal identity data, or facial images.

2. Minimal Anonymous Technical Data

Eatlabel requires no user registration or sign-in. To maintain operational stability and prevent abuse, only minimal, non-identifiable technical metadata may be processed:

• Client environment (browser type, operating system, display resolution)
• Access timestamp and coarse aggregate geographic statistics (country level)
• Language preference defaults (for automated KO / EN localization)

3. Third-Party Vision APIs & Cloud Transmission

To perform optical character recognition and additive cross-referencing, images are relayed via end-to-end encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL) to Google Cloud / Gemini AI vision interfaces. Transmitted images are utilized exclusively for one-time real-time query responses and are never used for advertising targeting, user profiling, or third-party resale.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

The service uses browser LocalStorage solely to remember minimal UI preferences, such as your selected language mode (KO / EN). You may clear cookies and local storage data at any time via your browser settings.
